Favorite Coding Language and Income

The survey also showed that developers who used Python as their primary coding language earned a median income of $125,000. Those who used Java earned a median income of $120,000, while those who used SQL earned a median income of $90,000. This data indicates that Python is the most lucrative coding language for Data Scientists and Data Analysts.

Sex-Based Income

The survey revealed that the median income for males in the Data Scientist/Data Analyst profession was $120,000. Females in the same profession earned a median income of $99,000. This data shows that there is a significant gender wage gap in this field.

Satisfaction Rate

Lastly, the survey revealed that satisfaction levels for the Data Scientist/Data Analyst profession were high overall. 80% of respondents indicated that they were very satisfied with their job, while 19% indicated that they were moderately satisfied. Only 1% of respondents indicated that they were unsatisfied with their job. This data shows that Data Scientists and Data Analysts are generally content with their jobs.
